Legoland, July 5, 2015
Today, we drove to just north of San Diego to go to Legoland. I had taken the girls here many years ago when Scott was at Comic Con, so I had some fun memories to share with the girls as we walked the park. Today was overcast and rainy! Can you believe it? They have been in drought for how long? 2 years? And it rains when we come to town... too funny. We rode many rides, and walked through the aquarium. I think the girls enjoyed the aquarium more than the park. Emma had chosen to go to this park. She said it was fun, but she felt her and Anna would be too big to go here again. Emma bought a Lego Simpson's House that she had been wanting. After the park, we went to find a Target. We shopped here for a little while and then went to find dinner. Anna chose to eat at In-N-Out burger, a California restaurant. We all thought the burgers were good, but Emma was sad that they did not have chicken. She even said that they did not even know how to do burgers right because they put the ketchup at the bottom of the burger and not the top. I don't think she really liked this restaurant. After dinner, we came back to the hotel for swimming, laundry, and packing. The girls are so excited about tomorrow to see Disneyland. We will write soon, love and miss you all.
Scott, it was great hearing your voice today, you are truly missed. We hope you are having fun at the fort and enjoying your time. Love you much!!!
