Here in Philly- Friday, April 6, 2007

We got everything packed into the van and left this morning a little before 8:00. We arrived here in Philadelphia around five. We all had things to keep us busy in the long trip. Emma and Anna had their movies to watch on their DVD player. They can both watch the same movie or they can watch separate ones. It's the first long trip we've had with it, and it sure comes in handy. Scott had a box full of "new" Justice League comics from the 1980s to read. Julie listened to her MP3 player, but just seemed to enjoy driving instead of riding for a while.

The three girls are going to go swimming in the hotel. Scott is going to go look for a place to buy somethings we need. We really have to find some paper towels and some cleaner because Scott's bike is a mess. After riding the whole trip on the back of the minivan, it's absolutely filthy with salt.

We saw some snow flurries on the ride down, but not much. It's warmer here and the sun is shining. We're looking forward to tomorrow when we'll go to Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell in the morning.
