Gettysburg- March 29, 2024

      It was six years ago, back in 2018, when Brian S. and Scott went to Gettysburg together.  In addition to having a blast down there, they also recorded specially selected songs at several of the monuments.  Scott edited them and posted them on the Rush the Growler website.  With the coming of Spring Break this year, they decided to head down again.  They won't be recording as much this time, probably, but they are looking forward to a fun weekend on the battlefield as well as at the "gin joints and junk shops" in town.

      Scott picked up Brian at his place on Friday morning, and they headed down to Gettysburg.  It was after 5:00 when they arrived in town.  They checked into their hotel and decided to stroll through what might be open nearby on Steinwehr Avenue.  They went to a few places and browsed through the t-shirts and souveniers.  Since it's Good Friday, Brian wanted a fish fry and they ended up eating dinner at O'Roarke's.  They made there way back to the hotel after dinner with a stop at the Reliance Mine Saloon since it's right by their hotel anyway.
